Yours Clothing Onesie Giveaway – US Size 32 – 34
Happy New Year, and to start the year off right, we have a Onesie Giveaway for you.
Yours Clothing sent me the most fabulous Red Star Onesies. They want you to know that they are now carrying up to a US Size 34. They sent me a US Size 28-30 (See the photo) for me to try on and review. It is very generous on me. They also sent me a US Size 32-34 (one size larger than the size I am wearing) to GIVE AWAY TO YOU.
I love my onesie. It is a soft, not too heavy, fleece and it just feels snuggly to wear. It seems like I could wear a smaller size, BUT, in order to get it on and off comfortably I think it is better to wear it a little larger. The sleeves are a great length for me, it is very cheery, and I look forward to nestling in my bed in it all winter long.

Plus Size 24+ Blog Roll
The Plus Side of Me included Affatshionista on a list of 20 Plus Size Fashion Bloggers at Sizes US 24+ a few months ago. I was thrilled to see her list and to be included. I had been looking for these blogs, and there was now a plethora of new ones to gobble up. I find the list very useful and often refer to it.
To bring in the new year, I used it to update my Blog Roll. In addition, I added some of the Ahead of the Curve Bloggers, that are part of the blogging collective I participate in, and some other bloggers, mainly from the US. I chose bloggers that provided information about US Size 24+ clothes, mostly clothes you can purchase but some with DIY approaches, and that were more clothing oriented rather than lifestyle or beauty oriented. I hope you will find it useful.

Kitty’s Night Out via ModCloth 4X Style
ModCloth invited me to participate in a competition this week using ModCloth products on Polyvore. I quite liked doing it, and of course the dress is a 4X. And I have been wanting a pair of lace kitty ears. I love the black necklace (I may just have to have it) and love the black heels.
Can’t you just see me wearing this?

Yours Clothing Moto – Biker Jacket US Size 28 – 30
I have been wanting a moto jacket for a long time but have had a problem finding one that is generously sized, although this jacket from Yours Clothing seems like it might work, but since it is English, I am concerned it may be too heavy for California.
Yours Clothing also has this jacket, on sale, but without as much zipper detail. But somehow I just do not like it quite as much as the zippered one.
What do you think, a bit of a bargain, or the one I like more?

MYNT 1792 Plus Size 4x Jacket
I had wanted to try something from MYNT 1792 for awhile but I had been concerned about whether anything would fit because their size chart makes it pretty clear that a size 4X is a size 26 and I am really more of a size 26 -28. BUT because of Gwynnie Bee, I was able to give it a try. I loved the jacket, it looks great unzipped.
But as you can see, zipped up it was a tiny bit little snug. But, I would love to try something else from MYNT 1792 that is not quite so form fitting, I think it might just work.

Cropped Denim Jacket Size 5X
Domino Dollhouse Plus Size 4X Denim Jacket – Out of Stock
Every time I show this black denim cropped jacket, I get questions about where I got it. It is a couple of years old from Domino Dollhouse, and they do not make them anymore. I love it and wear it a lot, in fact I am going to wear it today.
There are lots of denim jackets out there, but very few cropped jackets to a size 5X. So when I saw this denim cropped jacket from Strut Fashion, with a 15% discount code (PLUSMODELMAG2013) from Plus Model Magazine, I thought you needed to hear about it right away. They have a size chart on each page for each item, I love that.
I would love to hear about it if you have one or buy one, I have not yet tried their clothes.

Sydney’s Closet Plus Size 30 Glitz
I have blogged about this dress before but when I saw that our Ahead of the Curve them was Holiday Glitz and Glam this month, I wanted to post about a dress that you could still buy, that I love, and when I wear it I get tons of compliments. But the best part is that it is at least $100 cheaper than what I paid for it in early 2012.
The last time I wore it was to an intimate performance and several of the cast stopped me afterwards to tell me how much they liked it.

Sydney’s Closet has always given me great service and they have a pretty extensive line of in-stock prom and cocktail dress in sizes 38+, yes 38+. I usually order a 30 (I am a 26 -28) but I have it taken in the arms and sometimes shortened. This dress is also available in a Size 32. But do be careful, I usually stick to the Sydney’s Closet Signature Collection because I can depend on the sizing.
I just ran into this precious beaded cocktail dress to a size 28, on sale, and since it is Jessica London I bet it runs true to size.
On the Glitz scale this JACKET is at the top for me, just in case you did not see it last week.

How do Size 26 -28 Sizes fit at ASOS Curve?
Did you know that Radiant Orchid is the Pantone Color of the year for 2014? It is my favorite color, purple with a little red thrown in, it matches my glasses, it was my wedding color, and it is my current toenail polish color.
So when I saw this skater dress at ASOS Curve, in a US Size 24, I just had to have it. I 
assumed it would fit I have many ASOS Curve items in a US 22 or 24. But I failed to notice that it was not an ASOS Curve Brand Dress, it is a Club L Dress, which is says right on the title of the dress. And it was so small in a Size 24, I could not even get it over my head.
I am loving ASOS Curve right now. Reasonably priced, lots of fun clothes, and their US Size 24 usually fits, because it runs big. I usually wear a Size 26-28, but heads up, if you are really a US size 26 -28 like I am, only buy the ASOS Curve brand. I will keep a list here of some of their brands that my friends and I have tried that do not fit.
