“Festival” a Plus Size Fashion Statement!, or
“How I Learned to Love Flower Headbands!” Are you a Festival Girl, I am?
I love to shop, and y’all know that I think of myself as a hippie, so when I started seeing Plus Size Festival Fashion I could not help but smile. I go to a festival or two every summer so I am so excited to see such amazing choices in my size.
What do you need to wear at a Festival? It needs to be comfortable, and easy to pack, and fun. Festival Fashion gets extra points if you can put layers on top of it. A sun hat is a must and perhaps some fabulous sandals.
I made sure that all of the Festival Fashion in this post will fit me at a size 26/28, so to compare my measurements to yours, click HERE.
This Festival Rain Trench above (you never know when it is going to rain), is a fav, but I have lots more to show you.
I found these Festival Beaded Shorts on Bustle as a Taylor Swift Inspired Look.
How fun is that?
Festival fashion is EVERYWHERE! There are 109 plus size festival pieces made by the ASOS Curve Brand.
I also searched for fringe and these were some of my favorites.
ASOS Curve only comes to a size 24, but I find the ASOS Curve Brand runs large, and I have never found anything that did not fit my Size 26/28 body.
And a Heart Fringe Tank Top from Torrid would certainly be a great choice. I usually wear a Size 4 on top and size 5 on the bottom at Torrid.
And this is what the search term finds for Festival Fashion on Torrid.
Festival Hats need to have a broad brim to keep you in the shade. I have a large head so I am not able to wear regular size hats. I am always happy when I find plus size hats. This hat is a bargain from Jessica London.
And here is a great Black Festival Hat.
And of course you cannot attend a festival without great sandals, like these from Torrid. They all have the feel of gladiator sandals that are so popular right now, some have a little bling and some do not, lots of choices.
I have these Zipper Gladiator Sandals, Jessica London Comfortview and I love them, I especially love the zipper for easy on and easy off, and they come in lot of colors and lots of sizes.
Now that you have your plus size festival fashion taken care of, all you have to do is go out there and have a good time. Should you decide you want to go to a festival here is a list of the 15 EDM Festivals to Attend in 2015. But, of course you don’t need to going to a festival to wear these fabulous clothes. You could just be going to a BBQ in the neighbors back yard, or a house party at your friend’s house, but you will be stylin’!
Peace…affinity
Where can I buy the trench coat in picture love it ???
Isn’t it fabulous. So sorry. It is from ASOS Curve and last summer. I don’t think it sold very well so I don’t know if they will bring it back.
I’m stoked that festival style is so mainstream, haha! I love trends as much as I love unique looks.
